Advocacy and Outreach

We are the first youth with disabilities led organization to hold very active Weekly Live Twitter Chats, and other off and online campaigns with persons with disabilities as the main lead. So far we have had at least 20 persons with disabilities as speakers for our chats We count ! !We have also been a major contributor to different policies.

In October 2018,we were appointed to serve as the first ever jury panel with disability to Utumishi Bora Awards which are convened yearly by the Kenya Christian Professionals Forum in a bid to ensure inclusion.

We believe and practice human rights principles on inclusion,participation,non discrimination, and equity .This program thus aim at creating awareness on disability rights, reminding duty bearers to adhere to the human rights principles, and have the beneficiaries at the centre of the decision making tables. We are a founding member of the first ever Commonwealth Children and Youth with Disability Network.
